Our learners

Every learner’s journey is different.

At Inspire Training Academy, we work with young people from a wide range of backgrounds, each with their own challenges, strengths and goals.

Our role is to provide a supportive environment where learners can rebuild confidence, develop skills and move forward positively.

Below are examples of the types of journeys we support.

  • A Typical Day at Inspire Training Academy:

    9:30–10:00am - Arrival & Breakfast
Learners start their day with a calm arrival period, where breakfast is provided. This time supports wellbeing, routine, and positive social interaction, helping everyone to settle and prepare for the day ahead.

10:00am–12:15pm - Session 1: Starter Activity, Mixed Practical, Clients & Applied Theory
The morning session begins with a short starter activity to build focus. Learners then move into a blend of practical tasks, work with real or simulated clients, and applied theory to deepen understanding. Activities are personalised to each learner, supporting confidence, independence, and skill mastery.

    12:15–12:45pm - Lunch
A relaxed break where learners can unwind, refuel, and socialise in a supportive environment.

12:45–1:45pm - Session 2: Portfolio Building, Theory, Practical & Applied Theory
In the afternoon, learners work on developing their professional portfolios alongside further theory, hands-on practice, and applied learning. This structured session ensures progress towards qualifications, industry expectations, and EHCP outcomes.

    1:45–2:00pm - Salon Deep Clean & Plenary
The day ends with a team deep clean of the salon space building responsibility, workplace habits, and teamwork followed by a plenary to review learning, celebrate achievements, and set goals for the next session.

With up to three floors and a number of rooms available, we can have smaller class sizes focusing on specific skills within that session.

  • When learners join Inspire, we take time to quickly understand their food preferences so we can stock suitable breakfast, lunch and snack options that help them feel comfortable and supported. We also provide uniforms, materials, and kits where needed to ensure every learner can succeed fully in their qualification.

These items must be worn and used in all practical sessions to maintain professionalism, safety, and industry standard practice.
