14+ Hair & Beauty Programmes

Our 14+ programmes are designed for young people who need an alternative to mainstream education.

At Inspire Training Academy, we work with learners who may be disengaged from school, at risk of exclusion, or who simply learn better in a practical, supportive environment. Our approach focuses on building confidence, routine and employability skills alongside recognised qualifications.

  • An introductory qualification designed to build confidence and core skills.

    Learners study:

    • Professional presentation

    • Health & safety

    • Basic makeup and skincare

    • Hair styling and colouring

    • Plaiting and themed makeup

    Assessment: Pass / internal progression pathway

    This level takes the pressure of ongoing assessment and allows learners to work on the knowledge skills and behaviours needed for the hair and beauty Industry before committing to a full level 2 Diploma at 16 years old. 

  • A practical qualification covering:

    • Client consultation

    • Hair, beauty and nails pathways

    • Customer service

    • Retail and employability skills

    Assessment: Pass / Merit / Distinction
    (No written exams)
